Growing up in Mumbai at a school where Yoga was taught once a week, Rishin had an early introduction to yoga but didn't pursue it after leaving school.

He developed a regular practice in 2011 to recover from a shoulder injury and found a new respect for the practice.

Initially trained in Vinyasa, he has since trained as a yoga sports coach with the Institute of Yoga Sport Science and also completed a myofascial bodywork training with senior Forrest Yoga teachers Jambo Truong and Brian Campbell.  He continues to practice with and learn from teachers of different lineages.

Using a combination of verbal cues, visual demonstration and physical assists to guide people through the practice, Rishin teaches fast paced, strong Yellow classes with variations for people of various abilities. His Pink classes take a much more gentle approach, using techniques which allow for a relaxed state whilst releasing tension and stress.
